Sir,—Cheese can be kept moist and not a particle wasted by cutting it into small pieces and tightly ramming it into an air-tight jar with the handle of a hammer. It will keep a long time in a cupboard, but indefinitely in a rerefngerator Yours, etc., , E. A. BARTON. July 7, 1955.
