“Mr Universe”.—A 21-year-old Wellington man. John Penman, v*nn a “Mr Universe’’ contest held in the London Palladium this month. Mr Penman won the title of “Mr New Zealand’’ in 1952, and in 1953 he won two titles —“Mr Sydney’’ and “Mr Australia.”—(P.A.)
