COUNTRY GROUP OF CHAMBER
NEW DEVELOPMENT AT GRANITY Miners and truck-drivers are among the 16 members of the newly-formed Granity Country Group of the Westport Junior' Chamber of Commerce. The group is a new development in the junior chamber of commerce movement in New Zealand and was formed by Dr. Eric Clapham, an Englishman now living at Granity. Announcement of the new group was made at the annual conference of the Canterbury-Westland region of the movement at Hanner Springs during the week-end. The president-elect of the new group is a miner and several miners and truck drivers are included in the membership. Ages of the members range between 18 and 40.
