Coyotes Kill Geese
Coyotes at the Auckland zoo have a taste for Cape Barren geese. The director (Mr R. W. Roach) reported to the City Council parks committee that a pack of four had broken out of their cage and killed two geese. It was not the first time the animals have got loose. Once before a Cape Barren goose was destroyed. Mr Roach was asked to confer with the City .Engi-; neer (Mr A. J. ’ickson) about having [the cages strengthened.
