£57,576 PROVIDED FOR TAXATION "The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, June 12. The National Airways Corporation made a net profit of £13.656 in the year ended March 31. The preliminary figures have been released by the Minister in charge of Civil Aviation, Mr T. P. Shand. After providing for airport and airways dues amounting to £91,817, and for depreciation on aircraft and other flight equipment, the operating profit amounted to £113,532. From this provision is made for taxation (£57.576) and interest on capital (£42,300), leaving the net profit of £13.656. Of the total number of flights scheduled, 97.29 per cent, were flown.
