SAILING DATES FROM BRITAIN

(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, June 7. Eleven ships are expected to sail from English ports for New Zealand during June, the New Zealand Conference Lines have reported. Sailing dates of some cannot definitely be announced because of the effects of the dock strike.

Three ships are due to leave this week; June 8, the Surrey from Liverpool with a full cargo for Auckland and Port Chalmers; June 10, the Rangitane and Condessa from London, both with a full cargo, though the Rangitane will be carrying 1300 tons of meat and dairy produce which was not unloaded because of the strike.

The Rangitane will go to Wellington and Auckland; the Condessa to Suva and Wellington. The position regarding othep ships is not yet clear. The Middlesex, lying at a Liverpool quayside, is waiting to load after being partially filled at Bristol. She will go to Wellington, Lyttelton and Napier. The Norfolk began loading at Bristol on June 2 for Auckland, Wellington, Port Chalmers and Bluff. The Jersey mist is loading at Glasgow for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. It is hoped she will sail on June 14.

The Canopic is now awaiting discharge at Liverpool, then is due to load at Liverpool for Auckland, New Plymouth and Port Chalmers. The Cedric left dry dock in London, but loading for Auckland,’Port Chalmers and Bluff has not yet started as she has not completely discharged homeward cargo. The Lylepark is expected to be ready for loading at London June 13 for Port Chalmers and Auckland and to sail on June 23. The Port Victor is scheduled to sail from London on June. 16 for Wellington and Lyttelton. She is at present at Liverpool awaiting discharge. Another ship, not yet nominated, is due to leave London on June 30 for Auckland, Wellington and Napier. The lines have said they will make Jcnown immediately any change in plans for these
