WOOL VALUES IN AUSTRALIA
(Rec. 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 7. At the Sydney wool sale today rates for all descriptions of Merino, comeback and crossbreds were fully firm compared with yesterday. Of the 16,471 bales offered, 16,165 were sold.
Competition was strong from the Continent, Britain and Japan. Crossbred prices included: 80d for good average 58’s; 73d'for good average 56’s; 78Jd for average 58’s. All types quoted carried light burr or seed.
