Theft from Hotel.— £2s in cash was taken from the Carlton Hotel at 1. Papanui road between 2 p.m. on Sunday and early yesterday morning. Entrance to the hotel was secured: through a fanlight in the public bar,: which gave access to both the public ' and private baps, from which money I was removed. A total of £l5 was’ taken from the tills in the public barj and £lO in cigarette money from the i private bar.
