ANNUAL SIX-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT Fifty-eight teams were entered - for the Canterbury Women s Hockey Association’s six-a-side tournament, which was held at Hospital Corner yesterday, where the grounds were in fair order and ths weather fine. Results: — Senior A Grade. —Semi-finals: University 3, Carlton 0; Aranui 6. Harewood 0. Final: Aranui 3. University 0. Winning team: G. Washington, S. McCaw, G. Mayer, R. Moir, B. Powell. G. Hall.
Senior A Reserve.—Semi-finals: Hornby B 3, Avonside 0; HaPnbv A 12, Teachers’ College 0. Final: Hornby A' 3, Hornby B 0. Winning team: R. Tongue, J. Woodham. G. Dwyer, W. Luke, S. Shadwell. B Shadwell.
Senior B Grade.—Semi-finals: Carlton 9, Beckenham 0; Cranmer 3, Templeton A 0. Final: Carlton 1, Cranmer 0. Winning team: P. Rait, J. Thompson, C. Brown, D. Lumm. J. Mcllroy, J. Hoskins.
Intermediate.—Semi-finals: Harewood A 4, Carlton 3: Christchurch West fl. Ranglora High 0. Final: Harewood A 3, Christchurch West 0. Winning team: L. Steffen, M. Turner. B. Monk, V. Watson, S. Hurst, G. Merrin.
Junior A Grade.—Semi-finals: Belfast B 4, Christchurch West 3; Carlton, 3, Hornby A 0. Final: Belfast B 6, Carlton 0. Winning team: D. Burney, P. Drake, P. Cosgrove, V. Holden, J. Charteris fc E. Burney.
