Sir Edmund Hillary arrived in Johannesburg by air today from Australia
He and Mr George Lowe, one of the 1953 Everest expedition, are on a lecture tour of South Africa. Mr Lowe arrived from London on Thursday.
Sir Edmund Hillary said at a press conference today that he will arrive in London from South Africa before July 10 to have talks with Dr. V. E. Fuchs, leader of the Commonwealth expedition to the Antarctic in 1956-57.
