PROBLEM OF FORMOSA
Indian Envoy To See Mr Malik (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, June 5. Mr V. K. Krishna Menon, India’s roaming Ambassador, who is now in London for talks on the Formosa problem, is expected to meet Mr Jakob Malik, the Soviet Ambassador, tomorrow. The meeting will probably precede the Indian envoy's second call on Sir Anthony Eden since arriving from New Delhi on Friday. Mr Menon in Peking recently had talks on Formosa and other international questions with the Chinese Prime Minister (Mr Chou Eri-lai). Diplomatic observers believe Mr Malik and Mr Menon will discuss Formosa, Indto-China and the United Nations tenth anniversary celebrations in San Francisco. India is chairman nation of the international commissions supervising the armistices in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
