Bull) has returned to Wellington after a three-and-a-haii-nronth visit to Britain and the Continent to tour medical establishments. Biigadier Bull did a tour of duty with the Royal Army Medical Corps and sdw its activities in Britain and Geriffiny. He also visited civilian and military hospitals.—(P.A.) [Mr N. W. Were shortly. IThe board of managers of the Christchurch Technical College had suffered Is severe loss in the death of its chairman, Mr M. E. Lyons, said Mr R. Jones, who was appointed to fill Mr Lyons s place at last evening’s meeting of the board. A resolution to record tn e board’s deep appreciation of Mr Lyons's services to technical education in general and to Christchurch technical colleges in particular was passed. Members of the board stood in silence as a mark of respect.
