“SAINT JOAN” BY N.Z. PLAYERS
CAST OF PRODUCTION ANNOUNCED Opportunities will be given for a number of local actors throughout New Zealand to take part in the New Zealand Players’ production of “Saint Joan,” said Mr Richard Campion, producer and director of the company, announcing the cast for the new production. ‘’Several extras are required, and our Players’ Foundations are engaging repertory players in almost every town we are to play in,” he said. Three new members of the company were introduced at the gathering in Wellington last ' Monday Brian Brimer. Kevin Woodill, and Allen Paton. The cast of the new production is:— Edith Campion as Saint Joan- Geoffrey Wren as the Dauphin; Roy Patrick as Dunois: Benjamin Hawthorne as the page of Dunois; Brian Bell as Mgr. de la Tremouille; Pamela James as the Duchess de la Tremouille; Michael Cotterill as Mgr. Cauchon; Bernard Shine as Captain La Hire; Kenneth Adams as Steward; Charles Sinclair as the Earl of Warwick; John Kim as Bertrand de Poulengey; Allen Paton as Gilles de Rais; Kevin Woodill as Robert de Baudricourt: Brian Brimer as Chaplain de Stogumber; and Susan Stovel! and Norman Sidey.
