NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF TOBACCONISTS
MEETING CALLED BY FEDERATION (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 23. Representatives from all over New Zealand will attend a special meeting’ in Wellington on Wednesday and Thursday to consider steps the New Zealand Tobacconists’ and Hairdressers’ Federation will take in opposing the Shops and Offices Amendment. Bill. The meeting is being held as a result of a suggestion from the recent annual meeting of the Wellington Provincial Tobacconists’ and Hairdressers’ Association that the national federation call a special meeting immediately to consider the matter.
