FAMOUS GLIDER PILOT
NEW HONOURS FOR MR PHILIP WILLS Mr Philip Wills, the famous British glider pilot, who visited Christchurch last December, has been awarded the Lilienthal Medal, the highest gliding trophy presented by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale. Mr Wills has also recently received another international award—the Paul Tissandier Diploma—in recognition of y,® .® ork “ chairman of the'British Gliding Association.
