MUSICIANS’ TOUR OF CANTERBURY
OTAGO VISIT LATER A trio of well-known New Zealand musicians will tour the South Island during the next few weeks. It comprises Glynne Adams, violin and viola, Frank Gurr, clarinet, and Maurice Till pianist. Under the auspices of the Adult Education Department of Canterbury University College, they will make an extensive tour of Canterbury next week, and then will tour through Otago provincial centres. Mr Gurr is coming from Auckland for the tour, and several broadcasts in the main centres have been arranged. After the Otago tour, which will also last a week, Mr Gurr and Mr Adams will travel to Auckland, where an itinerary of 10 weeks through the Auckland province has been arranged by the Auckland Adult Education Department.
