CHARGE AT NELSON OF MANSLAUGHTER
(New Zealand Press Association) NELSON, April 26. Michael Patrick Ryan, aged 41, manufacturer and showman of Lower Hutt was charged in the Magistrate’s Court, Nelson, today before Mr H. J. Thompson, S.M., with the manslaughter of Claude Claire Neville Kitchingman, aged 38, married, a schoolteacher from Pakawau. . Ryan was remanded to appear at Nelson on May 4, bail being granted at £l5O with one surety of £l5O.
