Lady Megan Lloyd George Defects - . , LONDON. April 26. Lady Megan Lloyd George, daughter S avld Lloyd George, Britain’s World War I Liberal Prime Minister, today announced that she has joined the Labour Party. She was a Liberal M.P. from 1929 to 1950. in a letter to Mr Clement Attlee, the Labour leader, she says that she has taken the action because “it is only in the Labour Party that I can be true to the Radical tradition.” Aged 52, she resigned from the Liberal Party in 1952, after losingher Parliamentary seat, Anglesey.
