CHARGE OF MURDER OF YOUNG WOMAN
HEARING AT AUCKLAND NEXT WEEK (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 20. The preliminary hearing of the charge of murder against Frederick Foster, aged 26, a labourer, will begin in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. Detective-Sergeant F. A. Gordon said this in the Magistrate’s Court today, when Foster appeared before Mr H. J. Wily, S.M., charged with the murder of Sharon Dorothy Florence Skiflington, aged 19, a theatre usher, in an Auckland milk bar on March 28.
Dr. A. M. Finlay, for Foster, consented to a remand until Tuesday.
