STATEMENT ON POLICE CHANGE TABLED
(Wew Zeelrmd Press Association? WELLINGTON. April 20. The Prime Minister tMr Holland) today tabled in the House of Representatives the statement he made yesterday on the retirement of the Commissioner at Bailee, Mr E. H. Compton. Mr Holland said that notwithstanding that since yesterday every member bad received a copy of the statement, he now proposed to follow the suggestion of the Leader of the Opposition <Mr Nash). Mr Nash: It’s a practice the Prime Minister would be wise always to Mllow.
