Potentially Dangerous Driving “It is not clear in my mind just precisely : vhat constitutes driving in a manner that might be dangerous to the public,” said the Chief Justice (Sir Harold Barrowclough) in the Supreme Court at Wellington yesterday. His Honour said he could hardly conceive of any driving of which it cou’d not be said that it might be dangerous. Sale of Wellington Flats Boulcott Flats, the largest privatelyowned block of flats in Wellington, has been sold to an undisclosed buyer. Seven New Zealand manufacturers engaged in the production of veneers and plywoods are producing 20,000,000 square feet of veneers and between 30,000,000 and 33.000,000 square feet of plywood a year. This information from the Department of Industries and Commerce was submitted to an inquiry by the Board of Trade into import duties on those products. Average imSorts of veneers from 1951 to 1954 ave been about 900,000 square feet a year. About 1.200.000 square feet of plywood has been imported into New Zealand annually from 1949 to 1954.
