Pearson and Sons, APPLICATION: For a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump at premises, High street, Rangiora. 7685 RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL It is hereby publicly notified that the Riccarton Borough Council at its meeting to be held on the 16th day of May, 1955. proposes to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the raising of a loan of Five Thousand Five Hundred and Sixteen Pounds (£5516) for the purpose of meeting the Riccarton Borough Council’s share of the cost of the proposed Bumside Road Memorial Highway which is to be shared by the Riccarton Borough Council, Christchurch City Council, Waimairi, Paparua and Heathcote County Councils in agreed proportions by means of a joint special loan. It is proposed that the security for such loan shall be a special rate of .178 pence (decimal one seven eight of a penny) in the £1 on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Riccarton. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the undersigned not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
