A rise was posted fqr Burns, Philp. Recent weakness in the Commercial Bank of Sydney was halted, and the shares rose 3s to £l9 Bs. Ampol Exploration fell Is '4|d to 16s 10jd on a nominal turnover. The downward trend in Oil Search was halted, and the shares firmed to 8s 4d. N.A.U.C., whese development costs have been substantial, fell Is to 8s 2d.
