CUP RACE WON BY PINNACLE RIDGE (New Zealand Press Association) . HASTINGS,’ApriI 17. The principal event on the opening day of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Clue’s autumn meeting at Hastings on Saturday, the Hawke s Bay Cup, was won by the 1; oxtontramed Pinnacle Ridge in time equalling the race record ol 2min 17sec, registered by Financial in 1945. This was Pinnacle Ridge’s first start in open company. The winning double. Pinnacle Ridge— Roving Boy, paid £202 14s for £l. Tne weatner was line and tne track fast. There was a large attendance.
