NEW BUILDING AT HALSWELL SCHOOL.—The Minister of Railways and member of Parliament for Selwyn (Mr J. K. McAlpine) officially opened on Saturday this new block of classrooms at the Halswell School. The building will replace the first school, now 91 years old.
