Kaiapoi.—Birthday sprays were prepresented at the f monthly meeting and annual meeting of the Kaiapoi Country Women’s Institute. Mrs Candy was reelected president. The sum of £3 wag contributed to the appeal for the blind. Competition results were:—Small bloom: Miss Tourell 1, Mrs Tourell 2, Mrs Dunlop 3.
