WIREMEN’S DEATHS
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE LAID
(New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, April 14. A charge of manslaughter connected with the deaths at Hatuma am March 6 of three electrical wiremen who were killed while working on high tension power lines, will be heard next week.
The three wiremen, all of whom were employees of the Central Hawkes Bay Power Board, were Mr J. H. Hastings, aged 36, Mr H. Wilson, aged 45, and Mr Wilson’s 20-year-old son, Graham.
