FURNITURE STOLEN FROM HOUSE
’ (New Zealand Press Association) „ , AUCKLAND, April 11. Between £6OO and £7OO worth of furniture, household effects, and personal belongings were stolen from a new house in Kohimarama road, Auckland, between 6 p.m. on Sunday and H a.m. today. The goods had all been stored in the laundry. The owners, Mr and Mrs M. W Dunne, today noticed truck marks which seemed to show that two visits had been made. The couple, who have four children, live m Herne Bay, but were about to move to their new home. The stolen goods had been in the laundry for a week.
The thieves took new carpets, a bedroom suite, dining-room suite, kitchen utensils, silver, linen, crystal, garden tools, and clothing.
