Swedish Woman’s 108th Birthday; Mrs Maria Charlolta JohansSon, Sweden’s oldest inhabitant, celebrated her 108th birthday today at Qskarshamn in south-east Sweden. Although Mrs Johansson has weak sight and spends most of her time in bed, she was up early today to receive birthday flowers from her 80-year-old daughter, Alida, who lives with her. —Stockholm, April 9.
