EASTER CAMP AT WAIMATE
METHODIST CHRISTIAN YOUTH MOVEMENT
The Easter camp conducted at Waimate by South Canterbury district members of the Methodist Christian Youth Movement was concluded yesterday afternoon. A full programme of study and recreation was carried out under the Rev. A. Peter Dorrian as camp captain, and the Rev. W. J. Morrison, as leader of leaders.
On Good Friday the morning service was conducted by the Rev. A. O. Jones, and a sing-song and missionary meeting were held m the evening, when the speaker was Mrs F. Hayman. A jubilee rally and reunion were held on Saturday, when a fancy dress tea, to which visitors were invited, was held.
At a dawn service on Sunday, the speaker was the Rev. I. R. Polson. The Rev. W. J. Morrison conducted morning worship at St. Paul’s Church bn Sunday. The preacher at the evening service was the minister, the Rev. A. Peter Dorrian. The customary assembly and study circles were held on Monday.
