STUDENT BODY OFFICERS
CANTERBURY COLLEGE NOMINATIONS There will be an election for presidency of the Canterbury Univentty College Students’ Association. Nominations received yesterday were those of Mr N. W. Kingsbury, president ot Rolleston House, who is doing hislon honours, and Mr M. H. Cooper, who fa completing his bachelor of arts .degree and last year was on the capping and tournament committees. Neither hu previously served on the Stadenfa' Association executive. The election will be held today. The women’s vice-president, Miu Elizabeth Matthews has been returned unopposed. An election for men’s vice-president will be held to-morrow betwen Horn H. Freeman-Greene and J. Butherfori. Two of ' the six memban of the executive must be women, and Mimes Colleen Raymond and Felicity Over have been returned as the only nominees There will be an election on Thursday for the other four setts among Messrs E. D. Kwok, K. Milne, F. F. Seenstra, P. G. S. FenlingtoL A R. Lascelles, E. B. Wiltshire;!.G. K Williams, J. H. Broomfield, and R V. Davies. Abount 1500 students are eligible to vote, freshers being excluded branae of their unfamiliarity with the candidates.
