SEAL VISITS LYTTELTON.—This eight-foot seal attracted much interest as it basked in the sun on a boat-builder’s slip, near the dock, at Lyttelton yesterday. The seal appeared to be quite fit and was comparatively tame. Many Lyttelton fishermen say they have seen a seal rookery near Le Bon’s Bay, during the last few days.
