IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTEFKD that the Christchurch City Council, at a meeting to be held in the City Council Chamber, 194 Manchester street, Christchurch, at 8 p.m. on MONDAY, MARCH 14, 1955, proposes to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the raising of a Loan of Seventy-one Thousand Pounds (£71,000) for the purpose of Water Supply Extension in the Hoon Hay area. It is proposed that, the security for tbit repayment of the Loan and the interest thereon shall be a Special Rate of. such amount as the Local Governmertt'Loans Board may prescribe.
