NEW ENGINEERING SCHOOL

DELAY IN BUILDING CRITICISED

Read, of the Railways Department, Wellington, said the institution should be gravely concerned over the inadequate provision in New Zealand for training engineers. Training facilities were not keeping pace with the demand for engineering services essential to the progress of the Dominion.
