European Coal And Steel Pool
(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON. February 22. The House of Commons last night agreed without a vote to a Government motion seeking approval of the recent agreement on relations between Britain and the European Coal and Steel Community. The Minister of Housing (Mr Dun-; can Sandys) said the agreement to exchange information would be of great value. “We are not committed to anything beyond an exchange of information and consultation.
“We have entered into no commitment to reduce our steel tariff, or otherwise to change our commercial policy,” said Mr Sandys.
