Raizis, a Rumanian-born resident of Christchurch, setting out from the Chief Post Office last evening on an attempt to break the cycling record from Christchurch to Invercargill. With him is his brother, M. Raizis. The present record of 22hr 12min was established in 1951 by J. Hargreaves, an English cyclist.
