EGG PRICES IN NELSON AND MARLBOROUGH
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 21. A new price order for eggs sold in the North Island and in the Nelson, Blenheim and Picton districts was Gazetted tonight and will come into force on Monday. The maximum retail prices in the Nelson, Blenheim and Picton districts are:—heavy 4s lOd a dozen, standard 4s 7d, medium 4s 3d, pullet 2s fid, mixed 4s sd, duck: larsc* 4s 3d, small 3s 9d, mixed 4s Id. The order does not apply to the rest of the South Island.
