Wellington, for the 27 hours after the time of issue Situation—A cold front is moving north-eastwards towards central districts of New Zealand, and an anticyclone is moving across the south Tasman towards the South Island. Forecast:— West Coast and Canterbury: moderate south-westerly winds; cloudy areas clearing during the morning and weather becoming fair; cool to moderate temperatures; outlook, fair. Marlborough and Nelson: moderate southerlies developing in Marlborough and variable winds in Nelson; scattered rain in the morning, but weather becoming fair later; temperatures mild; outlook, fair.
