GIFT TO GLIDING CLUB
A gift of 200 guineas to the Canterbury Gliding Club 'has been made by Mr Matthew Wills, patron of the club. Mr Wills, who is attending the club’s third annual instructional camp at Simons.Hill, in the Mackenzie Country, handed over the gift, on New Year’s Eve. Mr Wills is a cousin of Mr Philip Wills, the British glider pilot and former world champion glider pilot, who is also attending the camp.
