AWARDS TO XAVIER COLLEGE CADETS
The Commander of Southern Military District (Brigadier H. E. Gilbert) inspected the cadet corps at Xavier College on Friday afternoon, when a ceremonial parade and march past were held. He was accompanied by the officer in command of Area 10, Captain P. K. Rhind. Brigadier Gilbert presented the trophy for the most efficient cadet in the unit to W.0.l K. M. Gallagher, and the trophy for the most conscientious worker to Under-Officer R. F. White. Both trophies were shell cases.
