SURF LIFESAVING

NEW BRIGHTON CLUB A large crowd attended the opening of the New Brighton Surf Life-Saving Club’s season yesterday. A team from H.M.N.Z.S. Black Prince performed very well to win the six-man rescue and resuscitation event. Teams from North Beach and South Brighton also competed. The weather was fine and the surf moderate.
