Rogers, who presented the report, and its ministers and people should express in deed as well as speech, the oneness of Maori and pakeha. "The Maori people ar? growing not only in numbers but in sense of pride in their culture and history and we have to face the fact that there will be two races living side by side in this country,” he said. “There is no valid reason why they should not live together with an amity of mutual respect and sympathetic
