BLOODSTOCK SALE
DENOMINATE BRINGS 340 GUINEAS
The five-year-old Defaulter gelding, Denominate, which is an acceptor lor the Riccarton Handicap on the second day of the New Zealand Cup meeting today, brought the top price of 840 guineas at the annual November bloodstock sale, held at the Addington Show Grounds yesterday. Denominate was offered on account of the Amberley owner, Mr H. D. Greenwood, and the buyer was Mr W. Kitto, Washdyke. ~The sale was conducted jointly by Messrs Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd., Christchurch, and Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Company, Ltd., Wellington. There was a poor attendance, and bidding was very slack. Sales at 100 guineas or more were:— Brood Mares Gna. On account of Mr J. B.
