GRAND PRIX PLACINGS CONFIRMED (New Zealand ‘ Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 4. The Australian, Stan Jones (Maybach), has been officially confirmed as winner of the first New Zealand Grand Prix held at Ardmore last January. The original provisional placings, made on the day of the race, have also been confirmed by the Royal Automobile Club, and the prize-money was paid out today ?ln i^ ucl “ anci International Grand Prix The delay was occasioned by protests by H. H. Gould that he had covered an extra lap.
