8.8. C. TELEVISION PROGRAMME

On the bight of the General Elsction in New Zealand, British television viewers will have the opportunity of seeing and hearing some of New Zealand’s politicians making their campaign speeches. A New Zealand company, Pacific Film Productions, Ltd., has been commissioned by the British Broadcasting Corporation to prepare a television newsreel. The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) will be filmed at Auckland, and the Leader of the .Opposition (Mr Nash) and other Labour Party candidates are expected to be filmed in the North Island.
