MR NASH SPEAKS AT ROTORUA
1100 ATTEND MEETING (New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, November 3. About 1100 persons gave the Leader ©f the“ Opposition (Mr Nash) an uninterrupted hearing during « two-hour speech in the Municipal Theatre at Rotorua this evening. The meeting carried a vote of confidence in the Labour Party and the Labour candidate for Rotorua (Mr R. 800 rd). Mr Nash said that, if his party was returned with a majority, his difficulty would not be to form a Cabinet, but how to make use of the ability of so many men and women who were well qualified for office. Footing the Bin “We do not come forward with a pyramid of promises which will cost millions, because these millions can come only from the taxpayers.”—Mr N. Shelton (National, Rangitikei).
