£321,696 HANDLED ON SATURDAY
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 3. The Totalisator Agency Board yesterday handled investments totalling £321,696 15s, comprising win-and-plate bets of £178,365, and doubles bets of £143,331 15s. Totals for the individual meetings and off-course substitutes were:— Te Aroha, £126.540 5s (Intellect). Hawke’s Bay. £83,728 5s (Surrey Otaki, £60,160 10s (Gay Pride). Ashburton, £51,267 15s (Jaunty).
