CHRISTCHURCH CLUB The first two heats of the women’s Beauchamp memorial trophy racewere sailed by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club on Victoria Lake, Hagley Park, during the week-end, in a north-easterly wind. Results:— _ v , First Heat.—Fowey (B. George), 25min 58sec, 1; Karilyn (A. T. Gray), 26min 27sec, 2: Sea Well (S’. W. Grey), 27min 28sec, 3; Cadger (W. Schenkel), 28mln 6sec, 4; Venus (D. Fleming), 28min 22sec, 5 Second Heat.—Fowey. 25rriln 49sec, 1: Karilyn, 28min 39see, 2; Sea Wolf, 29m in ISsec, 3; Venus, 30min 42sec, 4; Curley (C. Muxlow). 31min ISsec,-5. Points gained were:-Fowey 16. Karilyn 10. Sea Wolf 6. Venus 3. The fourth heat of the points trophy race was sailed in a variable westerly wind and resulted as follows—Fowey (2min 40sec), 44min 16sec, 1; Cadger (6mln 36sec): 49min 28sec, 2; Curley (6mln 20sec), 53mln 31sec. 3; Vai (F. Grey). smin 50sec, 52min ISsec, 4; Faith (J. L. Donohue), Bmin 20sec, 59mln IQsec. 5.
