Duke Has Instruction In Meteor
LONDON, September 30. The Duke of Edinburgh had his first lesson in a Royal Air Force Meteor this week and flew the jet at 35,000 feet, it was announced today. Flight-Lieutenant C. R. Gordon, who gave the Duke his first flying lessons two years ago, was again his instructor. The first flight this week was oh Monday, and it lasted about 45 minutes.
