NEW NETHERLANDS MINISTER
MR PIETS TO REACH N.Z. NEXT MONTH (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 27. Mr B. A. Piets, Minister-designate for the Netherlands in New Zealand, will arrive at Auckland on October 8, where he will be welcomed by the Charge d’Affaires (Dr. F. Van Ralte) and Mrs Ralte. Mr Piets, who will be followed later by his wife and two children, is travelling by air from Holland. He is expected to arrive at Wellington on October 11. Mr. Piets will take the place of Mr L. M. de Brauw, who returned to The Hague earlier in the year.
